When I was in grade school, my mother enrolled me in a music school for three years. I was in my third grade back then and I was really scared at first since I don't know how to play any instruments. Moreover, I don't usually engage myself in music. I can't even memorize a single line in a song. As time went by, I became interested and with the help of my teacher, I was able to play piano wholeheartedly. 

Every summer, we have this incredible recital at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Here is the photo of my Artist's ID. ->

We practice our piano pieces and performances there wherein, I gained new friends and established rapport with the different kinds of people. It was a memorable experience for me since my parents are very supportive of my activities. We live in Laguna, and the effort of taking me to Manila is a simple representation of their love. I played two to three piano pieces during the presentation. It is very overwhelming seeing the people who wants to see you play songs that were practiced many times. I was awarded as 1st Runner Up of the batch. I was really shocked because I considered myself a newbie in the block. I was also awarded as the 2nd Runner Up when I had my second recital. I was able to bring glory to my parents, family and to my teacher, who really inspired me to do better.

I also play Angklung, a Malayisan instrument.

I want to share these memories to my sister. I always see myself in her. Whenever I play the piano at  home, she just stares and smile. Sometimes she asks me to teach her how to play. Her favorite piano piece of mine was "The Boogie". She dances when she hears that song. It is, and will always be a lovely scenario.

These experiences shaped me in being who I am right now. I'm fond of listening to classical music and I usually research on the piano pieces of the good songs I hear on the radio. Whenever I am bored, I just grab a piano piece on the internet and immediately play my piano. These memories will be in my heart forever.
